We are an ETH Spin-Off (formerly known as Openmetrics Solutions AG), founded in 2016 with a focus on advanced statistical methods and financial engineering. Our core technologies are based on the latest academic research developed at ETH Zurich and affiliated universities. We are engaged in the ongoing transfer of academic research into commercially viable products and services.
With more than 13 years of academic research at ETH Zurich, a large set of leading-edge open source packages for finance and countless number of involved industry experts, OpenMetrics Solutions relies upon a rich set of experience, advanced algorithms and robust implemented methodologies.

Stefan Buck holds a master of science in Finance from the University of Zurich and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
The past 7 years, he was Managing Director at Leonteq Securities AG where he was heading the sales team in Zurich on Derivatives and Structured Products.
Prior to this, Stefan was Head of Investor Solutions Switzerland for Barclays where he spent 9 years of his career.

Tobias Setz holds a doctoral degree in Physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich and a master degree in Computational Science and Engineering (with specializations in theoretical physics and financial engineering).
He wrote his thesis at the Institute for Theoretical Physics within the Econophysics Group. He is (co)author of several articles and books as well as (co)author and administrator of the Rmetrics software libraries since 2011.
Since November 2016 Tobias is as CTO the main architect of the Adaptivv Financial Technologies framework.

Felix Fernandez holds a diploma in Electronics & Information Technology from the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt with a specialization in software simulation environments.
He has a long track-record of more than 20 years in the financial industry and different management roles within Deutsche Börse AG/Eurex.
After an intensive engagement with the ETH/Rmetrics Association, Felix assumed November 2016 the role as CEO of OpenMetrics Solutions and is responsible for developing the business and implementing a product framework, which creates sustainable value for our clients.
